Most fertilizers are 20 - 20 - 20

To make the perfect 20 - 20 - 40 ratio, you must add an extra 20 of Potassium (K)

 

SOLUTION: Buy a fertilizer with only Potassium (K).

0 - 0 - 20

Add that to your 20 - 20 - 20 NPK fertilizer

It will be transformed into 20 - 20 - 40

additionally you can add some epsom salt and some minerals
